I help internally critical women learn how to self-validate so they can decrease their inner critic and be happier. This skill is the flip side of Self-Love, they go hand-in-hand.
Self-Validation is the practice of learning how to listen to your emotions and tell yourself that they are okay, you are ALLOWED to feel those emotions instead of pushing them away and dismissing them.
Self-validation means acknowledging and accepting one’s own thoughts, feelings, and experiences without seeking external validation or approval from others. It involves being confident in oneself and trusting one’s own judgment and intuition. It is an important aspect of self-care and mental health. When we self-validate, we are able to regulate our emotions and reduce anxiety and self-doubt. By accepting and validating our own emotions and experiences, we also develop a stronger sense of self-worth and self-esteem.
