Self- Validation Skills
I help internally critical women learn how to self-validate so they can decrease their inner critic and be happier. This skill is the flip side of Self-Love, they go hand-in-hand.
Self-Validation is the practice of learning how to listen to your emotions and tell yourself that they are okay, you are ALLOWED to feel those emotions instead of pushing them away and dismissing them.
Self-validation means acknowledging and accepting one’s own thoughts, feelings, and experiences without seeking external validation or approval from others. It involves being confident in oneself and trusting one’s own judgment and intuition. It is an important aspect of self-care and mental health. When we self-validate, we are able to regulate our emotions and reduce anxiety and self-doubt. By accepting and validating our own emotions and experiences, we also develop a stronger sense of self-worth and self-esteem.

Assertiveness Skills
I teach women how to use assertiveness practices so they can set healthy boundaries at work and at home to decrease people taking advantage of or controlling them.
Assertiveness is a communication style and behavioral trait characterized by expressing one’s thoughts, needs, and desires in a direct, honest, and respectful manner while also considering the rights and feelings of others. It involves confidently standing up for oneself, expressing opinions, and asserting boundaries without being aggressive, passive, or manipulative.
Assertive individuals are able to clearly and effectively communicate their thoughts, feelings, and intentions while maintaining a sense of self-respect and respect for others. They can express their needs and wants without infringing upon the rights of others or allowing others to infringe upon their own rights.
Assertiveness is a communication style that involves expressing your thoughts, feelings, and needs in a clear, direct, and respectful manner while considering the rights and feelings of others. It is about standing up for yourself and expressing your opinions and desires without being aggressive or passive.
For a passive person, who tends to avoid conflict or confrontation and often prioritizes the needs of others over their own, assertiveness may seem challenging.
Building Self- Esteem
I teach women who have low self-esteem how to build or improve their sense of Self-Esteem so they can have more confidence, speak up for themselves when needed, and appreciate their innate strengths and beauty. I believe that our sense of Self-Esteem is learned from our family of origin but it is not a fixed quality and is something that can be expanded upon and improved.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Course
What is DBT?
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a type of cognitive-behavioral therapy designed to help individuals manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and navigate life’s challenges. Originally developed by Dr. Marsha Linehan to treat Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), DBT is now widely used for various mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, and stress.
The term “dialectical” refers to the acceptance of opposites, teaching individuals to embrace the complexity of emotions and experiences, such as love and hate or sadness and fear, as valid and coexisting.
